Institute BioSens won first place in Europe in the prestigious invitation of the European Commission Horizon 2020 – Timing, intended for the creation of European centers of excellence in scientific research, their implementation and the creation of innovations, which will provide the competitive position of the countries in the global value chain and strategically include them in the innovative growth of Europe.
The project is jointly funded by the European Commission and the Government of the Republic of Serbia – Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development, in order to develop BioSens into the European center of excellence for advanced information technology in the field of sustainable agriculture.
National co-financing of the ANTARES project is aimed at the development of scientific research infrastructure – construction of a new building of the Institute BioSens within the campus of the University of Novi Sad and its equipping with the latest scientific research equipment that will enable the Institute to fulfil its social role and contribute to the economic development of the country.
